What do people look for in a dentist? Do they know what they are doing, and will they treat me like a person while they do it?

At Chapel Street, the answer is yes.

We’ve seen a lot. And we’ve learned a lot.

Between us—Gemma, Sarah and Dave—we’ve got decades of hands-on experience across a wide range of treatments. We’ve each taken further advanced training in different areas of dentistry—not because we had to, but because we’re genuinely interested in doing the job well and giving patients better choices.

That means we’re able to offer more than the basics, without having to send people elsewhere unless it’s absolutely needed. But we don’t make a fuss about it. We just quietly get on with what’s needed and keep the focus where it belongs—on you.

We’re different, and that works

We’re not a one-size-fits-all kind of team. Everyone has their own way of doing things—but what we share is the same mindset:Patients first. No ego. No pressure.

Sometimes that means suggesting a colleague might be a better fit for a particular treatment or personality. We’re fine with that. In fact, we think it’s one of the strengths of being part of a team that actually communicates.

We’ve been here a while

This isn’t one of those places where the staff turn over every six months. Gemma has been here for almost 20 years. Lou, one of our longest-standing nurses, has been here even longer—nearly three decades. That kind of consistency isn’t common, and it makes a difference. It’s why many of our patients have stayed with us across generations. Parents. Children. Now grandchildren.

We’re proud to be part of that continuity. We know the roads people travel to get here. We remember your preferences, your stories, and the things that matter to you.
